We invite you to participate in the competitive selection of the Online Festival of socially oriented full-length and short films related to the life of Deaf people.
“The World Through Silence” is an internationally recognized cinema platform promoting the culture of Russian Sign Language in the international cinema arena. The film festival has been included in the list of international film festivals held on the territory of the Russian Federation since October 2019. Both professional directors and amateur directors can send their films to the jury of the Online Film Festival
“The World Through Silence”. All submitted films should be related to the life of deaf people, or be directly related to Sign Language.
The partners of the Film Festival are the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Department of Culture of Moscow, as well as the ROOI “Perspectiva”.
